i'm listening to the ocean as it pulls in the weeds
pulls in the salt from the rims of floating shells and lost bottles.
letters to unmade places and sandy thoughts are flooding
the sky is crying, the world is lying in a heap of broken sun
the fog is rolling
into the valley
in the shadow of death and deals
So i am watching the oceans as it lulls me to sleep
like a lullaby drowning
pooling like puddles from a thunderstorm
banging on the ground like bullets from a gun.
letting the skin bleed like a open heart
foaming from forced breathing
living to die
and failing to dare
I am sleeping, the ocean filled with reeds and notes
the paper planes and sheet music are my skin
wet, they cling to my legs and climb up my calves
like ivy vines of music
and the ships are singing as they face the waves
white like upside down sky, clouds make up the road
and the sails are fraying into the blue dragonflies
filling the sky with scales of fleeting lights
i am drowning into layers of water ,lacy lights filter between the moving greens and blues
and i am lying at the bottom of the ocean, a place
unthought to me and unthought to my mind
a free place
